Staying Connected: More Pics of What We Are Doing At Home

Thanks for submitting pictures of your Science projects!

KA continues along the E-Learning path this week! Shared reading involved our favorite bedtime story and we had some sight word review sessions.

A fantastic Friday draw along with the KB Kids!

This week’s PreK Zoom calls included a crazy hair/crazy outfit theme (because we’re going CrAzY without our students!) and took us on an indoor scavenger hunt.

2nd grade Earth Day posters!

We had a zoom meeting on Monday and we each brought one of our favorite toys. During the meeting, we met a guinea pig named Bluey (and a few other animals from that family too) and one of the KB Kids showed us how to use a pogo stick. Great work, KB!!

1A had a zoom call today and showed off their Earth Day crafts! We talked about what plants need to grow and why plants are important. It was great to see their happy faces (and goofy ones of course).

Last week 2A was challenged to make mixtures and practice math in a new way!

3A worked on Superhero directed draws during our zoom call last week. Here are pictures of some of their finished masterpieces!

Miss Powell and Mrs. Ford's class met up this morning on Zoom to play some charades. Lots of laughs and good times!

MPGS students are making music!

Great job on the science projects!

Any family who has a student that is kindergarten eligible to begin school this fall (age 5 prior to Sept. 1st, 2020) needs to pre-register with Mr. Newton. If your child was already pre-registered, or was already signed up for a kindergarten screening, you do not need to contact the office. You can contact Mr. Newton at 217-792-7220 on weekdays between 8 AM and noon. You can also email him at genewton@mtpulaski.k12.il.us.

Awesome work from KA this week. Thumbs up!

More e-learning from KA!

PreK caught up with friends, and followed a guided drawing lesson to create bunnies and bumble bees!
